Pergolas by the Lake and Framing Indoors

A lakeside patio with no shade gets hot by mid-afternoon, and a pergola or covered structure turns it into somewhere you can actually sit. Building one near the water takes a bit more care. Posts go down to proper footings, and the frame gets bracing that can take wind coming across Cameron Lake or Sturgeon Lake. Expect $3,000 to $8,000 for a pergola or covered structure. Small projects usually take a day or two, while a deck or a shed takes three to five days. Anything that needs to change mid-build gets talked through with you first.
