Power Washing in Brooklin, ON

Years of grime, gone.

Brooklin was little more than a hamlet north of Whitby within living memory. Today whole streets are still going up, and dust and mud travel. Siding picks up a grey film and newer driveways collect tire tracks from construction traffic. We offer power washing in Brooklin with the pressure matched to the surface, so vinyl and wood get a gentle setting and concrete gets the strong one.

Washing Away Construction Dust Around Brooklin

A street that's built out in stages spends years next to active sites. Dust from graded lots settles on everything downwind, and rain turns it into a grey film on vinyl siding and window frames. It makes a two-year-old house look tired. Pressure washing at a low setting with the right cleaner lifts it off without forcing water up behind the siding panels.

Driveways take the rest of the punishment. Mud tracked in by trucks, tire marks and the odd oil drip from moving day all show up on fresh concrete or interlock. Concrete can handle high pressure, and oil stains get a pre-treatment first so they loosen before we wash. Driveway washing for a standard two-car driveway is usually $150 to $250.

A deck wash is worth doing right before staining. If you've booked deck staining with us, the wash is already part of that job. If you plan to stain it yourself, we can wash it and leave it to dry for you. In the village core, older painted siding gets a much gentler touch, since high pressure can lift paint and push water into old wood. Fences on those tight lots pick up the same grime, and a wash at a wood-safe pressure brings the colour back before you decide whether they need stain.

Pedro handles power washing for driveways, decks, siding and patios. For how he approaches power washing in general, see our power washing page.

How power washing works

  1. Assess the surface

Each material needs a different pressure. Concrete can take a lot; wood siding can't. We set the pressure for each surface.

  2. Pre-treat if needed

Heavy mildew, algae or oil stains get a cleaning solution first, to loosen the buildup before we wash.

  3. Wash

We work across the surface in steady, overlapping passes at a consistent distance, so you don't get zebra stripes. Plants and landscaping are protected from overspray.

  4. Rinse and inspect

A final rinse, then a look over everything to make sure it's clean and nothing got damaged.

Power Washing in Brooklin: FAQ

Do you offer power washing in Brooklin?

Is there any point washing the siding while houses are still going up nearby?

If there's heavy work right next door, waiting a few months makes sense, because the dust will come straight back. If the building is a few streets away, a wash now is worth it, and siding can usually go 2 to 3 years between washes after that unless mildew shows up. Doing the siding, deck and driveway in one visit costs less than booking them separately.

Our driveway was poured this year. When can it be power washed?

Give new concrete time to cure fully before it gets washed hard. If yours went in this season, tell us when it was poured and we'll plan around it, or keep the pressure low and stick to a rinse for now. Once it's cured, concrete takes high pressure well. We keep the nozzle moving at a steady distance so it doesn't etch lines into the surface.
